Actually you don’t have to get a degree in criminal justice. From what I’ve heard, most law schools even prefer students that were sociology or anthropology majors. Lawyers study the law in law school but it is a career that has a lot to do with society and you need to understand the functionality of a society and why people do what they do.
It takes about 4 years to get a bachelor’s, depending on how long you take to finish your degree plan. For some students it takes 3 and for others maybe even 7 years but that’s dependent on you. Law school is 3 years. So you’re looking at an average total of 7 years.

If you were the dean of admissions at a law school and had to select between two applicants with identical records, except that one had an online bachelors degree and the other had a bachelors degree from a classroom college, which would you choose? There are enough applicants with classroom degrees that you will be at a tremendous disadvantage with an online degree.

If you are admitted, you will be a great disadvantage in comparison to your classmates who have just spent four years in college classrooms and have had firsthand experience with classroom instruction and the Socratic method of teaching which is used in most law schools.

If you must study online, make sure that all your credits are transferable to an accredited classroom program and just do your first two years online and then after you leave the service, do your last two undergraduate years in a classroom and earn a classroom diploma. Check out the online program of the University of Maryland.

Do not under any circumstances study online (or on campus) at a proprietary (for profit) university. Choose a non-profit public or private university, college, or community college.

Degrees from a proprietary college or university will usually be worthless for admission to most law schools.

If you cannot find out online, call the college and ask them if they are for-profit or non-profit. If they hesitate to give an answer, have nothing to do with them.

It will take you three years as a full time student in law school. Then you have to pass the bar exam. Then you have to get a job in the criminal law field. While you are earning your bachelor degree decide whether you would like to do defense or prosecution. You can always volunteer in any public defenders office or prisoners legal aid office. If you are still in the USMC when you get your bachelors check out whether you would be eligible to become an officer, and if so whether you would be eligible for the reserves. You can be in the reserves and go to law school. This may be your ticket to JAG in which case you could end up in either defense or prosecution. Also get to know your congressperson, whoever it may be, and become a campaign volunteer. This may help you get a job in either the private or public sector when the time comes.

attacking Pakistan because they have been to be harboring known terrorists– they claim not, but who would really tell you if they were, right? No matter what he does, it would be a long time before considered a "war criminal", as you say, since all the liberals in the U.S. are in one giant lovefest with him. Ahh, the honeymoon period… I wait until over.

She may not consciously remember, but you do subconsciously register the events on an emotional level… Like when a child finds out they were adopted and becomes depressed, they do not specifically remember the event but the emotional trauma from the event is still lingering in their subconscious. very interesting, look into it.

Honestly, it just depends. I swore in on July 7th, and i ship on Sept 15. I have a brother however, who swore in, in June of last year, and ship until November, they will try to get you into training as early as they can though. When you get ready for MEPS, your Recruiter should be able to pull a reservation for you, and he would be able to tell you then when you would ship as long as you have to go back to MEPS again for processing for any reason.
